Company Information

The company that owns the web site BalancedStride.com is a duly registered corporation by the name of Ranch Remedies, Inc. and is registered in the state of Wyoming. The corporation was established in June of 2003.

The site itself was established back in 2000 and was developed as an educational and informational site mainly for the customers of Bob Burdekin, orthopedic farrier. As time past and Bob Burdekin continued to post additional information and expand the areas of interest the visitor count grew. The stats that are referred to within this informational packet are dealing with the greatest growth period and the time that the web site was taken over by Ranch Remedies, Inc. The visitor stats are as follows;

Total Visitors for 2004 – 34,961

Total Visitors for 2005 – 99,672, and

Total Visitor up to and including October 31, 2006 – 121,882 we have increased our monthly visitor number by over 10,000 for each of the last five months (June, July, August, September & October) 2006.

The web site continues to grow in visitor numbers due to the constant input that it receives from its visitors and what they feel would make it better. This is accomplished through face-to-face contact will local visitors, interest surveys that are filled out at such advertising points as “Horse Expos” at various times throughout the United States and emails that are received through the use of the “Feedback Form” located within the site itself.

Advertising Efforts and Partnerships

The present method of promoting the site itself is accomplished through attendance at various “Horse Expos” throughout the United States. The first one that was attended was the “Western States Horsexpo” located at Sacramento, Last June (2006).

The results of that promotion more then doubled the visits to the site in a thirty (30) day cycle. In fact they went from 6,902 hits in May 2006 to 14,822 hits in June 2006. We are planning to attend the “Rocky Mountain Horse Expo” located in Denver, CO March 9th – 11th, 2007, in addition we are laying out a print ad program designed to drive much more traffic to the site in the coming year through the use of print media on a regional basis.

We presently have acquired many hits through the use of web links to such sites that are also horse oriented in nature such as, web portals, directories and topic specific sites.

The Web Site and its Demographics

We have decided to allow advertising on our site so that we can devote a larger amount of time to the acquision of additional educators, expanded format and being able to devote more time to the overall expansion of the site.

Our new site design will allow for an expansion of the education of today’s modern horse owner. We are to have input from various professionals and trades, such as;

Bob Burdekin ~ Farrier Trade, 40+ years experience

Garry McClintock ~ Western Saddle Maker, 35+ years experience

Bunny Horton ~ Trainer/Breeder, 40+ years experience

Rick Smith, CPA, 35+ years as a CPA

We are presently working with or looking for the following positions to also be filled and will be added as they agree to be part of the educational team;

Veterinarian ~ still looking for a vet able to commit the time,

English Saddle Maker ~ In the process of acquiring,

Bosal Maker ~ In the process of acquiring, and

Bit Maker ~ still looking for a tradesman with the experience and time to commit.

The new layout of the site requires a new article for each month of the year, from one of the above trades or professions and is posted at the middle of each calendar month. This will be called the "Monthly Article". In addition a newsletter will be created that will be mailed from an opt-in list to remind the past visitors to come back and see the new article each and every month.

Our Main Type of Visitor: The primary visitor to this site is the one largest segment of the new horse buying/owning public. They are 50+ years in age, mostly female, live in an urban environment, have an above average income, have been mid-management or higher in their occupation, are mostly degreed at the masters level or higher, have property ownership, have always wanted to own a horse and now have the discretionary income that will allow them to do what they want. They mostly own an automobile of the BMW class, maintain it very well and will do the same for their horse when they get one.

Our Secondary Visitor: The secondary visitors to this site are the children and grandchildren of the primary visitor. This generation is one that is extremely savvy when it comes to the use of the Internet and other technically evolved electronic mediums that we plan to base our adverting program upon. The secondary visitor tends to make maximum use of the web advertising, ‘podcasts’ and ‘PDF’ downloads to learn about the item that is bringing such contentment and satisfaction into the lives of their parents.

Our Adverting Program

We prefer to use small banner ads that will fit within the guidelines that we have predetermined as shown on all of the main title pages contained within the site itself. There are a total of forty-four (44) ad spots available throughout the entire web site. We have also determined that we have averaged 15,850 visitors per month for five months.

We have computed the monthly cost to be $125.00 per month per ad.

We have made various packages available rather than just month-to-month.
Our advertising packages are as follows:

Three Month Period:   Take a single ad for a commitment of three months and receive a ten (10%) percent reduction on the total cost of the time period. Computing out it becomes;
